Baby girl behaved very nicely at the appointment, obliging us moving everywhere the sonographer and doctor poked and prodded and even waving a few times. The sonographer joked that she looked like an alien, but in the video of the ultrasound, she definitely looked more like Skeletor...but FD hates when I say that! (Since she's due so close to Hallowe'en, perhaps we'll dress her up as She-Ra?)
On the day of the appointment, we were at 18w3d, but she measured either 19w0d or 19w1d in all of the measurements, so she's just growing right along! We'll continue to see this specialist once a month throughout with new pictures every month, so we're excited that we'll get to track her progress!
Baby girl doesn't have a name yet...but we're working on it!!!
Enjoy the pictures and video! The video is 10 minutes long, but you get to see her wiggle and wave and give her Skeletor look and all of that fun stuff! (The best Skeletor and/or alien shots come around 5:30 to 6:00. You might want to skip most of the first entire minute...they'd started the computer recording but hadn't started the actual scan yet.)
